Assembly

The structures from Phases 5 and 6 then required to be transported to the island only to discover that there was not heavy enough lifting equipment to lift the bridge.

A crane was hired from Oban but because of the size and weight of the bridge, concerns were raised over wind speeds (Tiree being windy on a good day!)

Fortunately the weather stayed calm and both structures were lifted into place
